About Us

Tarit K. Chaudhuri, founder of Archicon Services, Inc. is an Architect himself. He is a licensed Architect in the State of Texas, USA; a licensed Real Estate Broker in the same State and has a master’s degree in Construction Management from Texas A & M University. He started his career as following.

• Architectural Career in USA started in 1971 as a new professional immigrant after completion of his B.Arch Degree from the oldest and very well-known Engineering College, in Shibpur, W. Bengal, India. He worked with different companies in New York City, Houston, and Saudi Arabia. All these full-time employments were with Architects, Interior Designer, Engineers and Mass Transit.
• After graduating with a master’s degree in Construction Management, he worked couple of years with a Natural stone company and later with a construction company as Construction Manager, before going back to his Architectural job again. Although he worked in Real Estate as part time agent since 1985after receiving his Broker’s License.
• In 1993 he quit his full-time Architectural job to build a more financially promising career in Real Estate Industry. In 2001 he received CCIM designation, which is considered equivalent to a PhD in Commercial Real Estate. He continued his career in Residential and Commercial Real Estate till to date. He also received a certification in Business Brokerage.

• In 2007 he started his own Architectural company, Archicon Services, Inc. Till to date, he continued full time in Real Estate and Architectural business with the help of outsourcing the Architectural drafting part and managing it from USA. He also uses Engineers in USA who are not his employees. This process gives him the edge to save substantial money and pass it to his clients.

After Designing the Concept of the Project (by himself) his understanding of using out-sourced drafting and engineering services helped him achieving following benefits:

• Cost saving is substantial by avoiding a conventional office set up
• Drafting operation is virtually 24 hours. When people are sleeping in USA, our Draft persons are working in another half of the Globe. This creates additional savings due to faster turnaround.

After the completion of conceptual design by Tarit in USA it is sent to Kolkata, India. Tarit’s partner in Kolkata, is the main working force to oversee, conduct and manage the actual drafting process to deliver the flawless jobs most professionally, efficiently, cost effectively and on or before scheduled date. In Kolkata office we have more than enough manpower to handle big projects and multiple projects at same time.

• Engineering is done all in USA through different companies. It helps avoiding the big cost of maintaining any office staff in USA and the saving is passed to clients.
